Religious programs clearly articulate the moral standards that are implicit in all learning.
Grey Nun Academy welcomes students of all faiths and cultures. Respect for the diversity that our students and families bring to our school community is paramount to our teaching philosophy.
All students are invited to participate in prayer services and masses held in the Sacred Heart Chapel throughout the year. Penance, First Communion, Convocation, and Graduation are also held in Sacred Heart Chapel.
The Academy was founded to live out the mission of the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart. As such, we participate in monthly outreach projects to the needy in the local, national, and international communities.
The Academy employs a leader of campus ministry for religious education, and to coordinate outreach efforts on behalf of all students, faculty, staff, and administration.
Campus Ministry coordinates with the Home & School Association’s Spiritual Life representative, the Board of Trustee’s Mission Committee, and Grey Nun Academy Service and Spirit Committee to develop an annual plan that incorporates the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart philosophy.
It is truly heartwarming to witness the outcome of these committees working together to help the school continue to live its mission of service to others.
